Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling your booking with RAO Tours & Safaris Ltd.

1. Booking Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation, permits, and accommodation.

2. Cancellation Charges

If you need to cancel your trip, the following charges will apply based on when we receive your written notice:

• More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit only.
• 30 to 60 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price.
• Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total tour price.

3. Postponements

If you wish to postpone your trip rather than cancel, we will do our best to accommodate your new dates. A rescheduling fee may apply depending on the policies of our third-party suppliers (hotels, parks, etc.).

4. Unused Services

No refunds will be made for any unused services, including partially completed treks or safaris, missed meals, or sightseeing.

5. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all clients take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. This should cover cancellation, medical expenses, and emergency repatriation.
